About the event

Did you know that Schoharie County and the Mohawk Valley were once considered to be one of the largest honey producing regions in the world?

Join us for a fascinating look at beekeeping from the introduction of bees in the New World to the challenges and roles of modern day beekeepers.

Along the way we will also explore some prominent Schoharie County and regional beekeepers who were influential in their time. This will be a fun and interactive presentation for the whole family. Admission is free, but donations are always accepted.
